I haven't done this in a long time.

Josie and Elliott have a blog.
Noah has a blog.
Now I have a blog--which is mildly strange because I don't know what to say; but we shall see what comes of this.
Who knows, maybe I'll come up with something useful. Odds are I'll put some recipes on here too.

I'm going to Pakistan on January 24th, so I guess I could talk about the misadventures of the Italian lifestyle and their super lax and slow government policies. I came into the city last night so I could wake up early this morning and head over to the weird Harry Potter door that is the Italian Consulate. I went over there with the one paper they said I had to come re-deliver because it had allegedly gone missing from my gigantic packet of paperwork. I had it fedexed to me because it was a letter in Italian from my new school, brought it into the city, only to find that they did in fact have it in my paperwork at the consulate and the woman who scolded me for having dropped it on the way over was not only rude but wrong. Damn her. I can't wait for that kind of stuff to happen all the time in Italy--I hear they're late for everything, which is one of my biggest pet peeves since I'm almost always on time or early for appointments and whatnot. Time to take Elliott and Josie's first-born son Zeus out for a walk.

Also, when I came to visit, it was kind of a last minute decision, so I requested that Elliott not tell Josie. Elliott and I headed to Chinatown and ate an absurd amount of soup dumplings at Joe's Shanghai and proceeded to eat even more dumplings at Tasty Dumpling. My name is Ariella, and I'm a dumpling addict. Seriously...they never get old. When we came back, we bummed around the apartment for a little while waiting for Josie to get back from work. When she came back, I hid in the apartment and waited for her to spot me. When she did, she freaked out, screamed, and jumped up and down like a little girl crying because she was so excited. I told Elliott that she must like me more than him, but he doesn't believe me--since Elliott is all the is man. Because we Nathansons have are all serious foodies and can't help but talk about food at least fifty times a day, I feel the need to mention that Elliott, Reuben, Josie, David and I are going to Kuma Inn tonight, someplace I've been wanting to go. Always feels weird to say I'm excited for the restaurant, but I definitely am.

I'm done rambling. Hasta luego.
